Carpenter of antique furniture miniatures.

Arne Dannielsson is now 72 years old and still keeps repairing old lamps and sewing cushions. His greatest passion is antique furniture. For many years ago he started hand made production of small miniatyrers of antique furniture. Besides Arne has made his own versions of small tables, pedestals and has renovated old mirrors, lamps and antique chears.

Arne calls himself Luxurious Man, who has three rooms equipped with 5 phones only for himself. He lives at the top of a six floor house surrounded by old gadgets, furnite in various sizes and plants, which have streched out to the ceiling. He has survived five strokes, but still keeps on well. He doesn't want to give up his freedom and creativity.

Matīsa market was built in 1902 and is compact enough to be easily explored. The market is popular among intellectuals and people who live around. Rolands started to work here on 1992. At that time as a butcher he could earn in one day the same amount of money as he earned in a month as a carpenter. Not only that – butchers were supplied with working closes, equipment and lunch-vouchers. Now all it changed for gainful employment.
